At Memorial Hospital of Salem County, we practice a philosophy of emergency care called ER+, which helps further our goal that you will receive quality medical care as quickly and professionally as possible.
The Memorial Hospital of Salem County recently opened a 14,000 square foot Emergency Department with 19 private exam rooms.
Our Emergency Department staff utilizes a patient care system called Pro-Med. Pro-Med is a comprehensive clinical management process that helps to ensure consistent, high quality care in the Emergency Department. Using a computerized program, Pro-Med assists staff and physicians with the management of patient care by standardizing appropriate treatment; evaluating assessment and diagnostic findings; and measuring overall performance.
The ER+ goal is for you to have access 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, to qualified physicians who take the time to listen to what you have to say. You will be greeted warmly by nurses who are truly compassionate and a registration staff that understands that people come before paperwork.
