Candice Ward Named MHSC 
Shining Star

 Congratulations to Candice Ward, respiratory therapist for the MHSC Laboratory. She was named a "Shining Star" of MHSC.

The Shining Star program recognizes employees that exemplify the MHSC values of Attitude, Appearance, Commitment to Service, Privacy, Responsiveness, Safety Awareness and Sense of Ownership.

"One of my best employees," said Edward "Kurt" Krueger, Director of Cardio-Pulmonary Services.
"She is probably worthy of this honor every month."

Ward received a nomination from a patient who recognized  her for her compassion, great
attitude, and humble spirit.

"Candice does an excellent job of using AIDET to enhance the quality of care that her patients receive," according to the nomination form.

Ward joined MHSC in May of 2008.
