Mohamed M. Salem, MD, Chief of the Medical Staff for The Memorial Hospital of Salem County, announced that John Amrien, MD, was elected Chairman of Medicine and Curtis Lockwood, DO, was elected Chairman of Surgery, each for a two-year term.

Dr. Amrien completed a residency and fellowship at The Memorial Hospital of Burlington, NJ. He earned his medical degree from UMDNJ.
Dr. Lockwood completed a residency at Memorial General Hospital, Union City, NJ. He earned his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science, Iowa.

Denis Tavani, MD, Vice Chief of Staff. Dr. Tavani received a medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed a residency at Monmouth (NJ) Medical Center.
Pedro Dayrit, MD, Secretary/Treasurer. Dr. Dayrit received a medical degree from the
University of Santo Tomas, Philippines, and completed a residency and fellowship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, NY.
Mark Bezzek, MD, He received a medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, and completed a residency at Mountainside Hospital, NJ;
Andrew Black, DP, He received a doctor of podiatric medical degree from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine; he completed residency at Kern Hospital, MI;
Manish Dadhania, MD, He received a degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and completed a residency/fellowship at Cooper University Hospital;
Amante DeCastro, MD, He received a medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. He completed a residency at St. Vincent Medical Center, NY, and a fellowship at Jewish Medical Center, NY;
Trey Kamplain, MD, He received a medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he completed also a residency and fellowship;
Paul Kouyoumdji, MD, He received a medical degree from St. Joseph University, Lebanon. He completed a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital;
Roberto Diaz, MD, He received a medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas and completed a residency and fellowship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, NY;
Leigh Hopkins, MD, He received a degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed a residency at the Medical College of Virginia and fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital;
Chi Pham, MD, He received a medical degree from the University of Saigon and completed a residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital, NY.
In addition, William Manion, MD was named a delegate to the American Medical Association. Dr. Manion received his degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed a residency at the Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia.
